    • 10 in front-line local authority housing management at Newcastle City Council 
  • Founding director of co-operative social enterprise specialising in workforce design, training, and personalisation for people living with dementia or sensory disability.
  • Sustaining and leading a charity through a period of challenging change and transition, to achieve regulatory compliance following a poor inspection.  Tendering successfully for generalist contracts and day services contracts with local authorities. 
  • Working alongside, and providing direct support to, Boards and Executive Team, in strategic planning, risk management and aggregation.
  • 12 months secondment to the Urban Policy Unit within the Office of the Deputy Prime Minister during 2002, leading a team of Whitehall Civil Servants and Consultants to deliver one of the key commitments from the Urban White Paper.
  • Project Managing Major Organisational Change and Restructuring Project for the Home Group.
  • Supporting the development of a new overarching five year Corporate Strategy for Home Group.
  • Developing the Live Smart Housing product for Paramount Homes, working with an international cross-functional project team.
  • Working on a new approach to risk management with the States of Jersey.
  • Developing new approaches to risk management and business planning for the Home Group.
  • Developing growth and new business strategies for two RSLs, and a Fit for Purpose Housing Strategy for a local authority, as a consultant.
  • Expert housing market and planning policy advisor to developers working on planning appeals.
  • Experience as non-executive director and company secretary of two companies.

  • B.A. Politics, Philosophy and Economics, St. Peter’s College, Oxford
  • Post-Graduate Diploma with Distinction, Housing Policy and Management
  • Executive Diploma in Management
